I'm a bit slow with interweb language

So, I wasn't IBTL

(And I did enjoy 30 kms this morning, and my Brooks Swift is dimpling nicely around my ischeal tuberosities. Pictures free for friends)

So, if that's bike related enough: brief comment, I've never been troubled by bike forums chat from Colorado.

I'm a bit slow on interweb language myself. Luckily I can go to Google and (usually) find an answer:

Answer: "IBTL" is "in before the lock". You will see this expression in very heated, very controversial, and very inflammatory online discussion threads."

Potatoes are stem tubers. Of course, I could be completely mistaken that's related to tuberosities, which could be ginormous tubers.

A term commonly, and probably irritatingly, used for humorous intent to suggest that the speaker is not quite in touch with modern life. A bit like 'electric telephone'. My apologies!

No no no no no. I'd have thought that you as a medical man would have known that the 'sit bones', base of the pelvic structure and contact points with saddles, are thus called.

Unless you and your potatoes are just making mischief. I wouldn't put it beyond you (!)
