Road bike action had an interview with Ned Overend in October. He talks about being the old man of Mountain bike racing and staying young. <https://www.roadbikeaction.com/Most-Popular-Stories/content/67/6001/How-To-Ned-Overend-On-Staying-Young.html> . Having been in several races with him over the years I can only say that he is someone whom I try to be like and follow his adventures when I can. When he says staying flexable is one of the most important things we can do I only say, Amen! Thanks for being there Ned. And congrats to Bill for his article in RBA.

That Ned deserves more fame than he gets IMO. My problem in learning anything from his methods is that I was not awesome at 30 or 40 or 50.

Ned's article was a good read in the October edition. Seems that Zap does appreciate the 50+ crowd, this issue has a good column about Juli Furtado and some of the other older pros and what they are doing now. Ned had always been an icon to me, he is a class act.
