Vittoria Race Tire 60 tpi???
I saw a tire on sale at Nashbar.com for less than 1/2 price ($20) and bought two of them, after reading the reviews, which, as I recall, were pretty good. I wanted to replace my current tires which, while not worn through, are getting close.
I failed to read the description closely, and upon receipt see they are clearly marked "race" and as far as tpi, are lowest of their selection at 60 tpi (compared to their max of 220.) However, they are marked as "Kevlar" and "Nylon".
However, I am having 2nd thoughts and can easily return them.
Any thoughts - I want to use them for my general slow-speed MUP bicycling. Thoughts on goatheads?

Are they Rubino slicks perchance? I have the standard Rubino's on my Fuji (they were on them when I bought the bike). I'm gonna replace them this spring with the 120 TPI PRO'S. Not because they was anything wrong with the Rubino's other than dry rotting. I got the PRO'S cheap. I got only 1 flat with the Rubino's. I got a chunk of glass embedded in the front. And it took quite a while to go flat. Fairly tough tire. Should be fine for you.
