I guess playing chicken would be close to the dumbest. It got too painful once we got gears.

I was riding with my brother and his friend. His friend popped a wheelie. The front wheel dropped off the front fork and rolled down the street ahead of him. He cam down and flew over the handlebars.
I learned to check my quick release, and not to pop wheelies.
