Awesome! I love Copper Mountain, and I earned my Rosie's Run pin without sustaining bodily damage (Rosie's Run is a black diamond run that is more or less a shear cliff, at least that's how I remember it). Always had mountain sickness the first few days of each trip.

Probably won't go back, sadly. Don't have the legs, the heart, the lungs, the money......

Not in the cards for me, unless I go to the Andes. My birthday is in August.

I went to my local tavern hangout with friends and bought them all a beer. Friends are the spice that flavors my life.

Long time since I rode on my birthday so I know what I was not doing on my last one. But to remember what I did is impossible- I can't remember what I did last month let alone in January when it was cold and wet and miserable.

My last birthday? It was Nov.11, which by an amazing coincidence is the same day it's been every year all my life.
It was a rare, warm pleasant day for that time of year, so I rode my age (59)
I told y'all about it at the time, but but I'm sure ya forgot.

Oh yeah, I was in the Boulder, CO area and rode a bit on one of their glorious bike trails.

I took a 55 mile ride. My longest thus far. Even for north Florida, the 80+ temps in late January made it a glorious ride.

I wasn't on Copper Mountain although I once skied it poorly on XC skis.
Saint Patrick's Day, plenty of crazies running around without me, stayed home and redid hubs. Birthday tradition to work on bikes or ride if weather is to my liking.

I rode to work and back . . . just another normal day. Then my wife took me to dinner at Wood Ranch; all very good!
