Thanks Zinger. A number of Classic Rendezvous members around here ride Bianchi bikes and I was having some 'Celeste envy'... 
When I bought this bike I didn't know much about Bianchis. I though that it was a more expensive model and was a little disappointed when I got it home.
I made some minor changes and after the first ride was completely happy with the bike!
Several people I know have late 70s early 80s Reparto Corsa Bianchis that are pretty harsh riding bikes. The frames are most likely made with Columbus SP heavy gage tubing. This is a TreTubi frame that probably has Columbus SL main tubes with Falck forks and stays. It's a very light bike! :-)

There was a chance of rain today, so I chose Tanya ... my 2001 Schwinn Fastback Comp. Paid $800 for her new over 10 years ago, and she still rides, handles, and climbs great.

Who sez mid 50's is old? Just did the 40 mile NYC 5 Boro on this 1985ish Peugeot PGN10 today, bad hoods and all. The bike is older than most of the participants! And if there's any doubt, the quill stem is fine, not too high.

any tips for an old guy ride in seattle
Heading for Seattle Thursday, wish one of my bikes had SS couplers. Rented a Raleigh Revinio 3.0 from Recycled Cycles. Any tips on paths you have been on? Remember, not to hilly for an old guy!

The Burke-Gilman trail is pretty much flat along the lake, and you can then continue on the Sammamish trail to Marymoor park, and then back to Seattle via another trail that takes you through Redmond, but it unfortunately ends without connecting to any good roads to the I90 bridge. Lake Washington Blvd is where people go to train within the city.

Looks good on the maps. Going west along the water to the locks looks good also. It appears there are several 10 to 25 mile loops. Cant wait. Thanks

Haven't seen a Calfee or DeRosa. The Calfee was my 50th b'day present to myself, the DeRosa is a relatively new purchase. Can't find a good pic of the '81 AD

Yep same bike your is a boys mine is girls version curved instead of 2 piece top tube, also notice you have pink shock too
