Old people don't ride bikes. Young people with a great deal of experience ride bikes
Birthdays are good for you. Studies have shown that people who have more birthdays live longer.

Hate it? Man what is to hate about the one, nice bicycle, Indyfabz. Truly nice looking ride there, very taught geometry.

The new AWOL's first ride on gravel today. The bike was impressive. Love the way it rolls over the ruts and rocks, even with the "skinny" 40mm tires. Planning to put something closer to 2" on it soon as this bike is intended for the rougher side of the gravel spectrum. Great fit. Very nice feel when standing and climbing. Good, wide range of gearing from the 46/30 front, 12-36 rear. I'll got to try it on some thicker gravel, steeper hills and a few creek crossings next Sunday at the Fried Green 50 in Piedmont Wildlife Refuge out of Juliette, GA.

Love those pictures, @BluesDawg! Looks like the bike went out without you!

It was a reference to an old commercial for some beauty product. Maybe Lorreal hair color. Some actress or model says "Don't hate me because I am beautiful. Someone in the Road forum actually said it was uninspired. There's not accounting for taste, or lack thereof.

Well, I guess I can play too!
My first Lemond, sorta out of loan, for the last two years or so....
And then the winter storm rider A Raleigh Mojave MB with studded snow tires, fenders, etc.
Then my other winter ride for when the conditions are wet but not necessarily slick. It's a Kona Jake the Snake.
Then the two "modern" CF bikes that just see no love in my house and are up for sale. A Trek Madone 5.9 and Scott CR1 Pro the honestly is my best climber but just not suited for the rough roads I normally ride.
And then my current favorite daily rider. A wonderful Reynolds 853 tubed Lemond Tourmelet. This has significantly smoothed out the rough daily rides I was experiencing with the CF bikes. Sporting the "crazy" Wickwerks 34/53 chain ring setup that shifts oh so quick and smooth with a standard Dura Ace shifter.
And finally my new ride that's just waited for some snow free roads to be tested on. A Billato built Giordana Antares.

Here are the next 2 for winter builds. The Merckx is awaiting all the bits to arrive. The Harding frame is causing a rethink of the role of a couple of bikes. The herd contains no fixie, and no vintage gravel bike (at least with 700c wheels). So the evolution goes......
