That last thread about recumbents vs. upright bikes got me thinking about this bike my wife saw:

Since we just got a pretty nice tandem, it's not in the near future, but she rather liked it. This way you can ride together while arguing which one is better :)

That's the first reasonable argument in favor of that style tandem that I have seen.

I think DF and Bent riders can get along. Ride what you want...just ride.

Wow, a bent rider who can keep up with a DF rider on the climbs, and a DF rider who can keep up with a bent on the downgrades. Who'da think it?

There are lighter and better recumbent tandems than the one pictures.

I bought a trike. Have balance issues during the allergy season sometimes. Discovered that I like it a lot. Trikes are great on steep climbs and a blast on fast twisty downhills.
