Stands for lame cycling video of the month.

Here's my submission:

Quality of camera work: sucks. My computer simply cannot handle uncompressed clips.

Story line: none I can think of. I was just riding along a Strava segment called Grizzle Gate.

Music: Arnold Schoenberg, Five pieces for orchestra, movement 2. I actually like this stuff, but it makes you feel like zombies are going to wander out in the road at any time.

Enjoy. Or not.

I think YouTube puts some sort of delay on it, like a last chance to come to your senses. It should be public soon.

Whats funny is that the related videos are trailers for Carrie. That is funny.

Oh well it still says Video is Private, when it makes PFC or Lance Corporal I'll try it again.

It'll quickly be promoted to a Major Embarrassment or even a General Disaster.

That was nice. Hard to determine the grades visually, but your speed told the take...

It's S. Pope Lick Road just beyond Tucker Station Road. Stay on the road and you end up at the Pope Lick Trestle, home of Goatman.

Here's another one:

Camera work is coming along, although the editing process took longer than the actual ride. I think I got the music down well.

Very nice - that's one of the movements in Holst's "The Planets" if I'm not mistaken - not sure which one though...

Since it's still too damn cold in MI to do a LOT of riding right now, your vids allow me to live vicariously through your much more ride-conducive weather.

The last one reminds me a lot of Hilly Hundred and Horsey Hundred. Maybe because it's more or less in between both.

Hmmm, so you're in Kentucky?? Interesting choice of music, gotta watch your other videos in this thread when I have time.

Either you have some spare time, are a little weird or a combination of the two, but I like it, it's different

Just kept expecting that darned chupacabra to jump out and attack you at any time!! Never know when it might happen...

Aw hell ... that's not lame ... it's cool. Although I have to agree with the crack about chupacabra.

A friend took this video of myself and Teresa "The Rock" descending down Glendora Mountain Road. We're not going nearly as fast as it looks, but as you can see at about 1:52, it would be a loooong swan dive to the bottom if you were to miss a turn.

That made me nervous.

Believe it or not, on my last tame video there was a fatality on the last trail the week before. Some poor guy on a trike cooked a turn, flew over an embankment, landed in Beargrass Creek, lost consciousness and drowned.

I wish that were a joke, but sadly it's true. And to think that you guys go flying down that monster hill without guard rails.

Wow . . . I use that trail on my commute to Frankfort Ave.
I came up on that scene right behind the two MTB'rs who found him. At first I thought it was a prank because the body
looked very distorted and 'plasticy'(?), but quickly saw otherwise. The MTB'rs were on the phone with police as about
six or seven of them came running down the trail. I left right away. Its a sight I am hoping goes away. Very unpleasant.

Just awful. I'm sorry you saw that. It was bad enough just hearing about it.

It wasn't really all that death-defying ... I was only going 25-30 MPH.

I'm quite the chicken when to high speed descents. Teresa, on the other hand, descends like a rock. Nerves of steel and the descending skilz to go along with it.

Thanks for posting that Victor! It's fun to watch a video of a descent I know so well. And you're right, when actually on the bike, it doesn't seem as fast as it looks in the video. Who shot the video? Ken Mathis?
