Never-ending nor ever resolved discussions on the 50+

Here are some:

Clipless > clips > platforms

"Geezer, old fart, etc." - yes or no

MUPS - ride or don't ride

Ear buds/coverings - yes or no

Bicycling is recreation? Training? Racing?

Guns - yes or no (I probably should not post that here )

Take or don't take the lane

Triple <> compact double

And more? Add them in!!

The topics my be familiar, but the people are sometimes fresh with a new point of view. That's the best part.

It's also transportation. In fact, it is the most energy efficient means of transportation yet developed.

Never beencalled coot, old fart, or codger. Wouldn't mind coot. Ginger or Mary Anne? Really? The truly enlightened coot is more concerned with your response to Jennifer or Bailey. Both intelligent woman, but both with different outlooks. Go, Bailey!

As to bicycling, my 51st is in two weeks, I'm doing a couple hundred a week, but, I'm very new to the sport and know nothing of it.

I come here to learn. So, all those old hat arguments...I've not heard a one...

Then again, at our age, we'd probably find Mrs. Thurston Howell III pretty hot.
