What should I order??

Moving the December weekly century ride up a day. The weather for Saturday and Sunday looks like crap for doing a long ride.....rain and temps in the low 40's. So, I have a vacation day I was trying to get rid of .......... will just saddle up solo and get in 6-7 hours of steady wattage. Temps should be around 30 degrees when I start and warming up to the 40's most of the ride and hopefully in sunshine. I'm guessing that I can burn 5000+ calories. One of my son in laws birthday's is tomorrow so we're going to celebrate with burgers and beer at a joint called Kickstand. Imagine that.

See a link to the menu.......So what would you order after burning a few calories during the day???

Grilled Chicken Sandwich - I hardly eat any beef, and that is what I ordered at Red Robin today - along with fruit.

Turkey burger with LTO and either BBQ sauce or guacamole and a cup of chili. Not because its healthy or of any training benefit, it just sounds really good.

I'll bet they do specialty burgers really well. Double beef with bacon, saute onions & jalapeño, mozzarella.

The 'shroom and swiss looks good. I'd add avocado on the side. Manbe an after ride milkshake?

Only in the 50+ could you have a thread about the after-century menu. Tremendous...

Easy. The "Kickstand." Why not start with the signature burger?

On a side note: "fried pickles"?

The menu left out the most important part... what kind of craft beers do they offer. I'd pick the beer I want and then build the meal to compliment it.

The menu looks appetizing. Either the Bike Shop steak salad or the Fender Bender burger, except swap american for cheddar cheese.

Just got in from the ride. Wound up doing 110 miles and was out there ALL day. It was 21 degrees when I rolled out this morning. I had a stretch of about 35 miles it was directly into the wind. Between the cold and the wind I'm pretty trashed.

So, I'm really hungry. I'm thinking about doubling my order!! And everything that has been suggested sounds great right now. I'll definitely learn more about the craft beers as well.

Note, I missed one turn around the 50 mile mark today. I was thinking about what I was going to order for supper tonight and my mind wandered off to visualizing the menu. That added about 5 miles to the ride!

What a great place to eat! I think you deserve one of everything . . . and you'll still probably be a few calories short .

I appreciated the draft beer menu. I especially want to try Olde Mecklenburg Brewery Fruh Bock. I haven't found a place on my routes in Orange County (SoCal) that looks this good.
