1. Get My CR1 frame either repaired or replaced.
2. Do another week on Cycle America's X-country ride.
3. Replace my rain bike.
4. Have fun.

My Resolutions for 2014:

-Ride more, as much as schedule allows.
-Not spend a passionate night with Tyra Banks. This should be easy to keep.

By 65, most of us have achieved perfection, which leaves little room for self-improvement resolutions.

It's great to see you so positive. I am presuming the recovery has been complete?

Thank you for even remembering my situation. So often things just go in and out of our lives if they haven't happened to us personally. In November I did 3 rail/trail rides for a total of about 90 mi. I also got out with my club for a road ride. We did 34 mi. and I averaged 14 mph. It was a little slow climbing after having been off the bike since July 24th. But, I felt pretty good. A little stiff but no pain. I've been back in the gym spinning and lifting and have managed to keep my weight down to 180 lbs. I was 193 lbs at the time of the accident. So, now I'm pumped to see how well I can ride at my new weight.

One kind of funny thing about the accident. When I crashed I was wearing an Assos jersey. The one and only piece of Assos kit I had. It was only the second time I'd worn it and the EMTs had to cut it off me. Now that was painful! Just recently I celebrated my recovery by buying Assos bibs and a jersey. Just sort of had that "screw it. who knows if I'll be here tomorrow." feeling. thanks again.

This year was injury free, vs three bad crashes last year, with almost 9,000 miles on the road. Next year, I am going to do what I can to repeat what I did this year and try to get in more miles.
