Small world
I've been selling off a few bits and pieces via ebay that I know will never be put on a bike.
I'm in Wales and the last couple of months I've sold a wheel hub to a bloke in San Francisco, a pair of brake levers to someone in Seattle, a matching purple Crudcatcher and light set to Sweden, and I've had someone from Moscow who tried to get me to sell him a retro bike frame and wheel set (I said no because posting to Russia was a bit too complicated). I've also bought a pair of shifter/levers from someone in Germany.
Someone on this site from Texas also wanted to buy a Peugeot road bike.
The world is certainly getting smaller due to the internet.

I sell a cool Colnago book on ebay (signed by Mr. Colnago). Over 50% of the books are sold to Australia. Another 25% to other International locations, and the rest in the USA where I'm located. Without the internet, this opportunity wouldn't exist.

Yeah, but I agree with Chic Murray and later Steven Wright. It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it.

Yeah I've bought some small items from France and Britain lately. To think that I used to pay bills and buy bike parts from paper catalogs through the mail with postal money orders. I don't know if the world is so much smaller but the internet certainly gives you more options and is faster.
Oh and talking with people from all over the world used to require travel. Now they show up in my boxing and cycling forums.
