Spring is HERE

In one bike day - mowed briar patch where sunscreen goes, graduated to big ring after suffering thru one month of forced hi cadence, man can I fly. Got chased by a really BIG bad dog - no intentions of chase or play - just wanted a piece of my leg. Found a couple of new long roads with no CHIP SEAL. Twenty some miles on a road far from home finally realized speed due to tail wind - not my improved body. Coke and Payday candy bar - great half way break. Anyhow the temp was almost perfect, the sun warm and traffic almost nonexistant. Will spring ever come without the wind?

Yes, but not in Texas. It also won't come without the rain in Oregon, or at least that's the hope, since without our rain we're just like California.

Yesterday was great - first ride without tights (though did go with leg warmers), winter cap under my helmet or long fingered gloves. Supposed to beginning raining today or tomorrow so did a morning (4:30) ride today. Not a thrilling ride but felt great to just be outside.
