I carry a spare tube, patch kit, tire levers, and pump. For me, there's no point. The last time I crashed my bike and bled, they sent a helicopter.

I carry a couple latex gloves mostly for working on the bike but they might come in handy dealing with someone else bloody first aid. don't forget what you carry for yourself can be offered to someone else in need.

Cash. I can usually find a store around here and they all sell first aid/basic medicine. But the one time I went down and tore my chin open I rode home. Painted the bike red in the process. Needed stiches so a bandaid would have been wirthless anyway.

Being on blood thinners, I bleed like a stuck pig. My kit contains two 2x2 inch gauze pads, first aid tape, and two packets of Woundseal to stop the bleeding.
