Some of those Halo products have an insert to move sweat away so it doesn't drip in your eyes, too. Highly recommended.

I never ride with nothing between my helmet and my head. If it's not so cold as to require a bona fide winter skullcap, I wear a Headsweats Shorty Shorty - Headsweats whenever I ride.

You know what? I recall seeing a Headsweats factory outlet(?) on my way home from work! I'll check 'em out.

I still have alot of hair but I'm fair skinned and my scalp would get sunburned in the alien stripe pattern of my helmet.
I now use Banana Boat Quik Dri Sport Body & Scalp Spray Sunscreen SPF 30. Spray it on over your hair , it's not greasy but it will make your hair a bit stiff like traditional hairspray.

I received the Headsweats cycling cap that I ordered from Amazon the other day. I tried it on - I have a 7-5/8 - 61mm hat size, and was concerned about the 'one size fits all' aspect - but was surprized at how well it fit and how good it felt. I haven't had it on under my helmet, but I surely will be out on the bike this weekend. I think it's going to be a winner.

Just did another buzz cut last night so just a bit of stubble. Wife doesn't like the Telly S. look. Went to Walmart and bought a cheapo skull-rag, $5.00+/-, but that was some time ago.

I have enough scalp hair to keep me from getting sunburned, but I do wear a cap. I work in a hospital, and occasionally need to wear a durable paper surgical scrub hat. It’s very lightweight, and thin enough to allow ventilation, provides coverage from the sun, and adequately wicks away moisture. One hat lasts weeks, and I just toss it away for another as necessary. Furthermore it prevents Klingon-style helmet hair.

I could even draw designs or slogans on it if I were so inclined.

I have hair but I still always wear something between head and helmet.
Either a short headsweats scullcap (hot weather), a Pearl Izumi "transition" lycra beanie (cool temps), or balaclava (really cold) .
They keep my head cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter; and they keep the helmet cleaner year-round.
They protect the tops of my ears from sunburn.
They also keep some of the sweat or rain out of my eyes.

Well, Problem Solved! I just took a ride with my Headsweats cycling cap under my helmet and found it to be very comfortable. It did impede the airflow across my head somewhat, so I'm not sure how I'll like it when it gets hotter, but maybe if I wet it down I'll get some evaporative cooling. Guess I'm going to buy a couple more now, so I can rotate them through the laundry.

Headsweats' do-rags work well for me. I sport a #2 buzz cut, and the Headsweats keep the sun off my scalp, and the sweat out of my eyes. When the temps hit triple digits, I douse them with water before hitting the road/trail.

Head sweats and PI both make caps without beanie buttons that can easily be worn under a helmet. At our age, the wind resistance of the bill probably won't slow you up enough to notice.

I'd think "Alien Brain Syndrome" would be a badge of honor proudly "worn". I wear a Thinsulate skull cap winter months but that'd boil your 'noggin in summer.

I wear crotched cycling gloves, and the reticulated tan with the broad stripe on the back of my hands marks me as an intrepid cyclist, though I have been asked if I am a golfer.

Hi,
I use a skull cap from Sweatvac

Headwear for Men & Women | SweatVac Performance Wear

Very lightweight, no sweat in my eyes, no stripes on top either!
