Vegas is dangerous for drunks leaving the casinos who are pissed because they lost their paychecks. I also had a couple of "working girls" harass me one night when I was out for a night ride @11. Shudder, be kinda like getting mauled by a grizzly, only in a virus kinda way!

You know, I really want to shave my legs. My hairy legs barely brush up against the handlebars of my SWB bent and it bugs the crap out of me.
The reason I don't is because I'm afraid what my wife will do to me when she finds out.
What does this say about my manliness?
Shes leaving for Seattle tomorrow (I'm not going, and that is not fair), so I can shave my legs on Friday. Anybody know how to do it? Grab her Venus razor? Nair for Men?

I don't shave the legs cuz I don't want to see my boney ugly wrinkly knees plus I need as many excuses as possible for going slow.

... and it's looking like it's going to be good. Mrs. B is following a recipe from some fellow called Jamie Oliver. No matter -- we're on page 5!
I like Dudel's suggestion: this thread could become "our" version of Addiction.

The Highlands (Louisville) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is what we're talking about. I'm telling you, it can get freaky out there.

Do you motorcycle too, Dsack?
I always have a couple of scooters lying around. Never really ride them though . . .
To stay mildly on-topic, my main 50+ affliction is becoming scared of cars and 50+ mph. Really The bikes are fine, just fine thanks!
Some guy passed me on Beargrass Creek trail today on a mountain bike. Now that hurt.

No scooters. I'd like to get one.
There are some strong MTBers at Cherokee. I would not feel bad to get passed by one of them.

I'm sorry to interrupt, but I can't allow this to slip by uncontested. I'll have you know that the moderation team relies heavily on members reporting problem threads. Some threads get out of hand. Some members get out of hand. The moderation team can't be everywhere at the same time. We have a very limited staff that tries to keep track of a very large group of forums and scores, maybe hundreds of active threads. There is no way on earth we could cover all these threads without the help of the members.
This is an unpaid, volunteer position. We have personal lives outside this forum - jobs, families to raise, bills to pay, social activities, even an occasional bike ride. Speaking for most of us, we don't do this because we like bossing people around. And speaking for myself, I do this as my contribution to trying to keep this enjoyable and valuable forum an enjoyable and valuable forum. I just like to help keep it on track. So I hope you're not trying to discourage reporting, because that is absolutely essential in keeping this forum on track. We don't ask everyone to give up their time to help moderate this place. But we are extremely grateful when regular members help out by reporting stuff. And it may be too rigid an axiom to apply everywhere, but the general idea holds true - if you're not part of the solution, maybe you are part of the problem.
Thanks for listening.

What is your motivation to volunteer to help Internet Brands, a profit oriented company?
As a person who has done a lot of volunteering over the years I am interested in the answers.
