Thanks for the heads up
I tried it and it does not seem to pop up yet.
Maybe a windows XP issue.

Avoid steep hills? Really?
Having a flat tire as part of the total cycling experience is highly overrated. Knowing how to fix one quickly is not.

The site gmap-pedometer.com has shown elevation and calories burned for a number of years. I believe it's a google site?
once you put in your directions you have to go up and click on the bicycle in the tabs.
To all, I tried Boulder Co to Brainard Lake with google chrome and IE, and yes I did click on the bicycle. Did not work.
Using the link above and changing the locations worked.
My stored favorites link is https://maps.google.com/maps and as well as https://www.google.com/maps seems to be the issue.
Using https://www.google.com/maps/dir/ does work.
WOW, I just went to google maps and tried the new version and it's pretty impressive. Way better than gmap-pedometer..... Tim
