Got 63 mi today, but...
....it wasn't elegant or terribly athletic. A short stop at 15 & 30 miles then a 20 min break at mile 45. Only my 2nd time over 50 miles this year.
The nicest part is that this (minor) accomplishment means I woke up on the right side of the dirt for another 365 days. Maybe pie tonight. Maybe even honey-pie later.:roflmao2:
ain't nothin' wrong with a little honey-pie! Sounds like a great ride- congrats! :)
Waking up on the right side of the dirt is always a good thing! G

Unfortunately, that's not my situation. My imperial centuries are a thing of the past. Santa Cruz to Monterey and return was my annual easy century for many years. Also Santa Cruz to San Luis Obispo was a fun ride/camp adventure 3X, when summer tourist season was over. Coastal California is year-round cycling heaven.
