Thanks! That's actually the cheap cable lock I bought to lock my bike up in my underground garage. My best friend told me it's too thin & easy to cut, so if we go biking together we use hers to lock our bikes up together.

For the record I own
1) One rideable bike-but it is a very nice Bianchi (Nivacrom EL-OS) from the 90's
2) Probably 30-40 golf clubs, but I doubt that I could put together a second full set
3) Three usable telescopes (11 inch Celestron SCT, 8 inch Meade SCT, 5.5 inch Vixen Pertzval achromatic refractor). They are typically used on the back yard permanent pier (Losmandy G11 mount) in the pic.

I also have just one bike, but three scopes (14.5" TeleKit, 8" Hardin and Orion Short Tube 80). I just need to use all of them more. (no golf clubs, though)

Interesting that you should bring up the ST80 refractor. I wanted a 'Superfinder' for my C11 scope. I considered the ST80 but with the stock 1.25" focuser the FOV was marginal (not necessarily unacceptable, but...). And the 2" upgrade appeared to require some semi-serious machining, so I passed on that and use an 80mm Lumicon. Great FOV in a 1.25" EP but at f3.5 it really is just a finder. From what I have heard some ST80's are not that bad.

And, that's Molly, our illegal alien, Canadian shelter save lab/setter mix, to the left.
Sorry about the stone face, its called masking, PD causes this.
This was back in July 2012, and I was 100lbs heavier, taken just a few days before the renal failure and Stage 3B kidney disease setting in.

I think it's still done by lottery. If you have trouble getting in, consider the Alta Alpina 5 pass challenge instead. It's the same route, and put on by the same bicycle club that started the Deathride. The support and food is even better, and there are way fewer other cyclists to contend with. The only thing you don't get is a crack at a Deathride jersey.
