[QUOTE=bruce19;17563720]Here's my rule....when cycling, if your body fat % is in double digits you are obese and should sell your bike and all your gear. [/QUOTE

I'm 64 years old, 5' 11" and about 235lbs. Surely double digit body fat %. In the past 6 years I've done the Bike Ride Across Georgia (BRAG) 4 times, RAGBRAI twice and the Erie Canal tour once. One of those years I did BRAG and RAGBRAI two weeks apart. I also lead a weekly club ride. I'll never have a cyclist's body but I am a cyclist.

You are entitled to your opinion but absolutely dispute your theory.

It was a joke. Sarcasm based on the cyclist's perception of the "ideal" body as opposed to the "normal" view of body type. You missed the smiley?

I did miss it. Venting felt good even when unnecessary. Take care.
