Headed for subzero tonight. Again. Should be out of this arctic season soon. Last March we had -28 so I'm quite guarded with the expectations.

Last night we got 6" of snow on top of a 1/2" of ice. Today it was 42* and the streets were flooded from the melt.

The high here today was about -5F. I skied all day and had a blast. Windy too.
It's more a case of learning how to dress than what the temperature is. I'm buying a fatbike this coming fall so I can ride all winter. Would be a blast.

It got all the way up into double digits (10F) yesterday, and I was running around with my coat unzipped!

I don't mean to rub it in, but I'm actually looking forward to it cooling down in the coming weeks.
We're in our last "official" day of summer. Presently 27.5°C and 70% humidity, the latter being what makes the former particularly unpleasant.
Last few weekends, I've been meaning to get out and go for a moderate ride to get some bits for some projects, but couldn't be stuffed due to the heat.
Thankfully winter here in Brisbane, rarely gets much below single-digits (Celsius) and almost never snows (it has done so twice in my lifetime apparently).

Careful what you wish for. That is about 50C warmer than it was here today.
