Headed for subzero tonight. Again. Should be out of this arctic season soon. Last March we had -28 so I'm quite guarded with the expectations.

Last night we got 6" of snow on top of a 1/2" of ice. Today it was 42* and the streets were flooded from the melt.

It was Icebike 2015 in Winnipeg yesterday. Minus 26; so no fear of riding on the Red River.

The high here today was about -5F. I skied all day and had a blast. Windy too.

It's more a case of learning how to dress than what the temperature is. I'm buying a fatbike this coming fall so I can ride all winter. Would be a blast.

Yeah, 'only' minus 8 here. And we're only 6 days out from March. I hope the glaciers give me time to vacate the house before I'm buried under a mile of ice.

It got all the way up into double digits (10F) yesterday, and I was running around with my coat unzipped!

I don't mean to rub it in, but I'm actually looking forward to it cooling down in the coming weeks.

We're in our last "official" day of summer. Presently 27.5°C and 70% humidity, the latter being what makes the former particularly unpleasant.

Last few weekends, I've been meaning to get out and go for a moderate ride to get some bits for some projects, but couldn't be stuffed due to the heat.

Thankfully winter here in Brisbane, rarely gets much below single-digits (Celsius) and almost never snows (it has done so twice in my lifetime apparently).

Careful what you wish for. That is about 50C warmer than it was here today.

You poor Ozzie. With climate like that you'll never be able to find out what you're made of. ; )
