6'2"ish with a 34" inseam. 60cm is the sweet spot for road frames, but the stable includes a 23" (58.5cm) Raleigh Sports, 59cm 912, 60cm Trek 620, and 62cm MKM. I ride large sized mountain bikes -- I think the High Sierra is a 23".

I am 6'8" and currently ride a 63.5, but.... besides the 64 I haven't found anything larger. This kind of brings me to the question of why Giant doesn't make "giant" frames? Anyways I am very limited to what I can ride. I have Trek 7. 2 FX, fairly new to cycling (2 tlr years) and have made my bike to fit me. I put drop bars on with 120mm stem and the bike feels very comfortable. Night and day difference to what it was before.

Have you seen this yet? Not sexy, but huge. When I'm ready for a road bike, I'm giving this one a serious look.

I do believe there is a bike too big for me now. Thanks for the info on that. I don't plan on purchasing a new bike anytime soon, but that will be the one when I do. I've been looking at Surly too, their frame sizes seem to run a little bigger than most.

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=391311I'm 6'4'' and my 87 Bridgestone 550 is a 63 cm. It took some adjusting as far as the saddle and handle bars are concerned. But she fits and rides wonderful.

6'1", 34" inseam, 220# 61cm Cannondale Synapse

My short femurs required a zero offset seat post with the seat all the way forward. That plus long arms led me to fit a 130mm stem and I'm thinking I may need a 140.

I'm 5-10 with a 31-inch inseam. I ride a "large" bike that is 19 inches from center of crank to top of seat tube. I can comfortably straddle the top bar (30.5 inches) with both feet flat on the ground. My seat is set at 39 inches high. I have longer than normal arms (34-inch shirt sleeve) and appreciate the bike's length.

Shuffleman 07-17-14 10:35 AM

6'02 with a 35" inseam.
I ride a 61cm road bike

flan48 07-17-14 06:22 PM

I'm 5' 5.5" these days (used to be a shade over 5'6"!) and ride a 2012 Trek 7.4FX with a 17.5" frame. The effective top tube is 548mm. When I look at the geometry statistics, it is virtually the same as a "small" of other bike manufacturers - makes sense as the bike fits just fine.

Best regards
