Sizing a Kestrel Talon
 

I am interested in the Kestrel Talon road bike as I feel that it would suit my needs well but do not have a retailer near me that stocks Kestrel bikes. If anyone has any experience/advice for what the proper frame size would be for me I would greatly appreciate it. I am a 5'10" male with a 31" inseam. Thanks!

I'd judge by the top tube length since the Go Fast Race bikes are running tall seat posts these days , ..

& slam the stems real low, on short steerer tubes ...

what is the size of the current race bike you ride?

I have a 565 top tube . length on a 56 seat tube length , but not much seat post extended .

I never know if you guys use trouser inseam numbers off your levis or not.

There is more to sizing a bike than your height and inseam. As a matter of fact those are two of the less important factors. Also as pointed out is this your cycling inseam or pants size? Use a fit calculator like on competitive cyclist to get a ball park.

Wingfoot67, if you are still interested on a comment to your post, I don't think the talon would suit your needs; more important because of the short inseam. I've been studying the talon geometry because I am interested on getting one for myself, too. There is another bike with similar geometry and better stand over more friendly to your own anatomy that you should consider, I am talking about the Breezer Venturi.
