What do you think of the Allen Sports folder?

The Single speed Urban Alum. Allen Sports brand.
Amazon had these on special today for around $180/ free ship.
Reg price is $400. Got good reviews from Amazon.

Tomorrow they are having a Allen Sports fully carbon on special.
Under 20 pounds. Reg price is $4,000.

Just wondering on any comments. Anybody own one?

Don't put much faith in the "regular price"; there are plenty of companies out there who display false higher prices to make you feel better about the price that you are playing and to add a sense of urgency to your purchase.

what are they really pricing that so called $4000 carbon bike? because my buddy has a "real" $3400 bike from the major brands and that's under 15-16lbs. 20lbs is actually pretty heavy for a carbon road bike especially when they say the value is $4000

That 8.4kg Hasa Ti folder makes a bit of a mockery of the Helix inventor's claim to be the world's lightest folding bike.

And they both say they're the best folding bike in the world.

    From BF's website:
    Rider weight 190 and under

I'm prolly pushing 180 with winter gear and helmet, add in the tools/etc I carry and I'm bumping that limit. And I'm no Clyde. My full CF SuperSix has a higher weight limit.
