Downtube bike any good are the durable?

I have been looking at different folding bikes, and the Downtube bikes seem to off a lot for the money.

    Are they any good,

    Are they durable?

    any problems in design?

I was looking at either the Nova or the Full Suspension.

anyone have a Downtube bike that can give me some insight.

Yes they are durable bikes and good for their pricing point. They have a relatively good reputation. I've owned 2 and they are pretty good and excellent when you compare them to bikes priced $300-400 more. You need to go $1000+ to really see better bikes IMHO.

Wish you all the best and enjoy! Should have some fun and easy to store all 3 folded in a larger car or SUV!

    Wife has a Rav4 SUV,

I have a scion IQ, that car is SMALL!!!

I wonder if they, or at least one of them would fit into the back of my IQ, with the rear seats folded down?

I looked at some photo's of the IQ backseat. I am sure you will fit at least one bike in the back, I would not be surprised if you got two in it.

Keep in mind you can remove the saddle to make the folded package shorter. Additionally you can deflate the tires to make the bike about 1" smaller ( then inflate when you ride ).

    Thanks,
    Yan

    Thanks,

    Thanks Yan,

My Scion IQ is actually pretty roomy for it's size. I went from a miata to the IQ a Folder is going to fit way better in an IQ than in a Miata, if at all.

I went shopping at Costco several times always take the IQ, I come out with a lot of stuff and it always fits in the IQ.
