    Folding Bikes on SEPTA question

Hi, I'm new to the whole bike scene and been wanting to bike in the city of Philadelphia. I normally take the regional rail to get to the city and bike from the city to where I'm going. In the SEPTA rules, folding bikes are allowed at all times and considered as luggage. I'm normally travelling during rush hours, do you guys have any advice where I can put my folding bike on the train? I don't think it will fit in between seats. any suggestions?

Which folding bike do you have, or at least what size wheels?

I tend to just put in the luggage spaces like a suitcase. Not overhead. Sometimes it falls over in to the gang way like any other piece of luggage can. Usually people just put luggage back in the compartment. But bikes tend to confuse train staff you feel they need to find the owner to shift it back for some reason ime.
I live in England so I don't have septa experience.
