Dahon Noes derailer?

I'm looking at the Speed P8 but am concerned about Neos derailer, any good or problems. I too am looking at the Speed 7 but I am concerned about single wall rims. I had a an old Boardwalk and both rims failed over time.

Neos derailleur works really well ....its a little more difficult to get wjheel out of frame, its a little more difficult to adjust the throw .. but otherwise its really a great derailleur ....
All new Speed p8 are now called D8 ... and they have a Sram regular derailleur ..at least the ones I sell ...
SIngle double wall rims ... how did your other rims fail ? Did the sidewall got so thin from braking that the rim eventually broke ? If that's the case the single versus double makes no difference ? Did the nipple pull through ( most likely due to a too loose spoke tension , where there is flex in the spokes and now they pull like crazy )
In any case ... yes double wall are usually better rims, if one can feel the difference ? I am not convinced... Of course for anything over a 750 dlr one should expect a little stronger/lighter wheel ( which usually are doublewall ...)

Thank you for the response. It was the spokes that failed, all at once on both rims. I just assumed quality bikes had double wall rims. My primary interest is Cromo frame for durability and comfort. I also do most of my own maintainance like chain and cassette replacements so Sram is a plus. What about the D7 component wise?
