2015 Dahon speed P8 2000+ mile review.

This is my review of the Dahon speed P8. Let's jump in to it, I bought it 6 weeks ago. So for I have replaced a few things that wore out or needed to be replaced. This is what I did.

- stock tires developed micro fractures along the sidewall at 1800 miles
- brakes are at 70% and doing good.
- the saddle was replaced with a Cardiff leather saddle
- the hinge had to be tightened twice
- the backwards (derailleur Neos 8)was replaced with a normal Acera derailleur
- chain lasted about 1700 miles
- cassette is doing good.
The rest is stock and in good working order.

Mine,, about 250 miles, love it I do .

I put a Shimano derailleur and a proper trigger shifter on the bike, swapped out the over built heavy chain.
It shifts perfectly now..

I'll eventually go igh on my Speed P8. I prefer internal grearing, and I don't mind a few extra lbs to have it work perfectly for me. I never seem to enjoy a derailleur the way others do.

Update: 2313 miles, the saddle was to hard to break in so I replaced it with another one I had laying around. The brakes are almost done and will need replacement. The new kenda tires I put on are working great. So far the folding bike is doing well.
