brompton fork crown mount

I've also posted this question in the Brompton Yahoo group. I want to mount a B & M Ixon IQ Premium on the fork crown of my 2013 Brompton. I bought the B & M fork crown mount but it's too high for the light to fit under the front luggage block. Has anyone mounted that light on a Brompton fork crown? The specific piece for attaching the light comes off so I might be able to use it on another mount.

Yep I have. I gave my bracket a bend to stay low. It JUST clears the brakes.

Thanks, that sounds like a good idea if I can't find a Brompton-specific mount.

I bought this one and it worked fine with an EDelux II light.

That's what mine looks like now. I guess I saw this pic and bent it like that. It was pretty straightforward if you have a bench vise because the bends do need to be symmetrical.

I do have a vise so I'll try it, unless I can find the part around here. It's not expensive if I don't need it shipped.
