source for cheap folding tires

Am looking for a place that sells popular tires (specifically 20" 406 for me, high pressure) at less than retail prices. Having gotten accustomed to Nashbar/Performance prices that usually end up with 50% off normal retail prices for road tires, would like to find a similar thing.

Thanks,

Yeah, I've looked there (Gaerlan). Seems like mostly MSRP for all tires.

Perhaps just not enough demand in general for 30-50% off MSRP on 20" tires?

well

all good 20 inch tires ( high pressure, compound and such ) are as expensive to make as full size high performance tires.... BUT usually the demand is very much smaller......

I started selling Schwalbe tires and specialize on 20 inch ( and 16 ) but again the demand is somewhat limited. No 50 % off here any time soon ... :-)

Sometimes people are just facisnated that they even can find them.... like mango colored stelvios ... or the new 1.5 racers ( which will be in stock in 2 weeks ) ... no need to discount them ...

Check out bike tires direct, they have several 20" HP tires at good discounts, including Kenda, Continental and Schwalbe.

Last time I needed tires I used airbomb.com. I got Kendas with reflective sidewalls (406) in 1.35" for about 15 bucks. This code- TPM77- works on the website for 10%.

That seems to be the best buy. Around 30-40% under MSRP.

Thanks,
