Thudbuster seatpost for non Dahon Folders - Follow up

We were talking about it in some other thread but I tought others could benefit from it if we could have that on a new one.

I gave up contacting someone that (apparently) could make arrangements to create a custom, long seatpost with a OD different than 34mm. I left several messages, talked to 2 different people but never received a call back.

If anyone else feel like pursuing it, Here is the link. I never tried e-mailing them though, so it may be just me and my old fashion communication methods.

Good luck,

Rafael

Hey Rafael,
What diameter post do you need? The reason why I ask is that my Swift came with a steel post that is 530mm long 28.6 mm outside diameter and 25.4 mm inside. Since the Thudbuster comes in a 25.4 size I could get one and insert it into a steel tube like the post that I have, and I would have a thudbuster shock post setup for my swift. There would be a small penalty on weight. If your post diameter is large enough that you could get a tube with a 25.4 ID and an OD to match what you need for your seat post you can make your own.
