I don't mind cold as much as slush or ice. The cold temps I can deal with. One winter in Siberia I was silly enough to bike in -50C temps. Didn't have far to go but the plastics bits on my bike shattered like glass. Yesterday it was about -20C (-4F) and I went for a little ride but darn my lungs felt cold! I have good mits and decent boots but my lungs were the biggest shock.
