Nope... that bike is not a "real" Brompton. It's a licensed Brompton copy made by Neobike. Notice in the Ebay auction description, the seller calls the bike a "Brompton / Neo". This is why the bike looks a little... "off".

I wonder if the brakes really clear the fenders. When I put fenders on my Dahon Mu SL (very similar bike in concept) I had to replace the v-brakes because it came with short reach items.

Oooohhhh... how I wish I waited a few more weeks to buy my Birdy on Ebay.... because there are now TWO like new condition Limited Edition AIRSTREAM Birdys on Ebay right now!!

Oh well... my crystal ball wasn't working, and I'm very happy with my Birdy anyways.

There are a number of Birdy limited editions, but I'm not sure how many. In addition to the Airstream, I'm aware of these:

Leica Edition (camera company)...



Bianchi Fretta...




Peugeot Edition.. (Also seen in pic above)


(I really love this heavily modified Peugeot Birdy)


....again, there's more special edition Birdy bikes out there, I just don't know where to find a comprehensive "list" of these bikes from over the years.

....BARBIE even had her own Birdy bike!

It could be that you see shipping from where you are located and the shipping fees are different?
