This is the only folding tricycle that I can locate here in the US:
https://worksmancycles.com/shopsite_s...ulttrikes.html
The company has been in busines for many years. They ship direct to you.

Dahon seems to be one of the better manufacturers of folding bikes that range from $275 and up. They're based out of California and market through local bikes shops and on the web. I live in NYC and purchased mine through www.brandscycle and got a great price. The dealership unpacks it, gets it together and repacks it. There was one small problem with a missing nut and both brandscycle and dahon were great. Brandscycle contacted Dahon (who also got in touch with me by email and phone) and sent out two full replacement parts for my trouble.
If you go to their website at www.dahon.com, you can learn about the culture of the company, their corporate ethics, their 15% improvement program and also connect to thousands of customers that post to their discussion forums. What's amazing is that the technicians read these posts daily and jump right in to help out with any problems. Very cool. I highly suggest you give them a look.....

You can't get a good folding trike for ~$1000 unless someone is giving it away.
Gold Country is where we bought our 'bents. Driving there is a hassle though.
