The World Of Folding Bicycles: Future Blog

Can this be true? Folder Fanatic is now developing her own blog? I am not sure that I will actually keep one, but if I do, I will let all of you know of it-like my real (rather my nickname) name will be it's title-how daring!

Plus additional thoughts on folding bikes, but will be even more personal than the current web sites are.

Can Folder Fanatic really be talking about herself in the third person?

A cool thing you can do with flickr now is easily publish your flickr images directly into your blog posts with no fuss or muss, so I dare say you will be at the forefront of the Web2.0™ revolution with this.

I've been keeping a blog for just over a year. Not as many posts about bikes as I thought I'd do but it's worth it. I find blogging cathartic. My advice is not to pressure one's self to post often if there's nothing significant to report; keepin it quality not quantity makes for an interesting read.

Good luck on your voyage into blogdom. I look forward to perusing...

My blog, (as ever) is linked in my sig if anyone fancies stalking me.

Thank you for your thoughtful advice as always, LittlePixel. I guess trying to keep my own persona from overpowering this new branch like I did with the first two forays into the World Wide Web. I did make myself really did think of me in the third person-wow. I wanted to keep this blog from becoming just another Folder Fanatic adventure (or a rambling monologue with myself or a tutorial for my sister). I am first intergrating Geocities first before Flickr as I want to learn all the new features that will open up like the publishing one's Flickr images directly to the blog.

However this branch turns out, it is going a similar, yet entirely different take on my life. So far, very little on folders, but more emphasis on personal growth and other interests (like Japanese Anime, personal reflections, and of course day-to-day concerns like supporting oneself after financial changes in my family). The blog is not quite ready yet. But I want to give it a month from a few days ago to see if it is sucessful enough to warrant more serious scrutiny by others.

Seinfeld

If characters can talk about themselves in the third person on Seinfeld why can't Folder fanatic.

I got too much into the habit of thinking of myself in the third person, James, when I was developing and writing the first 2 web sites. I am trying to kick the habit in order to create a good personal orientated blog. But thank you anyway.
