Problem With My Brompton
I am experiencing a nagging problem with my Brompton. I took it in for adjustment of it's gears today. I been having difficulty dropping the seatpost down for it's folded position. The wheel appears to be in the way of the seatpost to drop all the way down. Does anyone with Brompton repair experience might be able to guide me as to how to deal with this problem? Is it common for Bromptons in general to have folding problems?

1. Tuck the wheel under as normal.
2. Grab the wheel and pull it up into the frame (as far as you can).
3. Your seatpost should now drop down as normal.
Messing around with that plastic seatpost bumper thing is not recommended, unless it is loose (which it probably isn't).

Thank you for your assistance, spambait11. Your directions of how to quickly fix the problem that my Brompton has experienced off and on since I purchased the bike was very helpful and worked well. The plastic seatpost bumper does not appear to be loose now or in the past. I will watch for this to tighten it if it does-as I do with my other bikes to prevent problems especially on the road. I am a firm believer in preventitive maintenance.
