What's the status of Giatex?

From the looks of these photos (scroll down), it appears that Giatex was at the Taipei Cycle Show:

But the Giatex web site suggests that they've shuttered their doors:

No exactly sure about Giatex, but the following site has something almost identical.

I've seen lots of these around Toronto, would never buy one... I think they were being sold in china town for $99 a pop... I thought it was a rather funny design...

I spoke to the Giatex Importer here .. said that the company has winded up - probably poor sales.. The canadian site has the dear sir we have temporarily suspended ops.. etc... their new models looked good though.. the chiba series..
