The different D7's

Can someone please tell me what the difference is between the D7's (The Speed, Mariner and Vitessi)? Are the frames exactly the same? Which one do you recommend?

That's a pretty specific Dahon question, you might want to try the Dahon forum also:
http://www.dahon.com/forum/index.php

Personally I would visit the Dahon specs page for each and compare each entry line by line.

The Vitesse is aluminum, the other two are steel. You can find many long and boring discussions comparing frame materials; I'll generally go for steel. If you examine the frames of the Mariner and Speed, you can see the difference in design, although the Mariner frame is identical to the Boardwalk.

Between the Speed and Mariner frames, I'm not really sure what differences you'd find in performance or durability. To me, the Speed *looks* a bit sturdier, but I have no proof for that. Riding position should be close, perhaps identical. If the Speed D7 has the same derailleur hanger as the Speed P8, then it might be easier to upgrade or replace the Dahon Neos derailleur, if you want to do that at any point.

Thanks DaFriMon. The reason I ask these questions is because I want to get Vitessi but got scared after reading this thread: i'm not enjoying my dahon experience
