Hi
i'm in the market for a folding bike bag.
i was wondering if I could use a downtube bag for my dahon boardwalk.
i would get a dahon bag but theyre 60$ whereas the downtube bags are on sale for 30.
thanks!

Hello And Welcome!
I have designed and created a very simple drawstring bag for covering my various makes, models, and years issued of all folding bikes in my collection. The free directions and how to step-by-step instructions are on one of my Flickr sets:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/world-of-folding-bicycles/sets/72157601331380862/
Please check it out. I can do this project in one sewing session.

See a particular example photo of the completed project for the bike only in actual use.

If other folder owners (and even other non folding bike users) are interested in bags and other projects you can use with the bike, I just might start to issue more ideas out on my Flickr and other web sites. So let me know if there is sufficient interest generated and warranted in actual use for all people.

Thank you for your prompt response with a surefire yes, DVC45! My Flickr site has a set "Creative Projects For You And Your Folding Bicycles" just for that purpose (and plenty of room to add more projects if interested. Anyone else care to comment?
