Kalkhoff Folding Bike??

Has anybody any info on this recently acquired Kalkhoff Folding Bike (The frame actually comes apart where most bikes fold)

It is likely from the early 1970s. (see attached picture)

I believe everything on the bike is original.

Scheinwerfer I mean the headlamp...lol is not standard. otherwise it looks like it left the company in Northern Germany .... it was run at the time by the two brothers Kalkhoff ... it is 70 ware , when all of europe was sending bikes over here to fuel the bike boom of the early seventies

Thanks Thor,

The head lamp looks out of place. I have also seen a few of these bikes knocking around Eastern Europe.

I have an identical bike, except mine has a generator with the headlight attached to it on the left side of the front wheel. Mine is a single speed, and I plan to switch to a multispeed rear hub.
This is the first one I have seen besides my own.
