18,000 miles trouble free on a Rohloff hub.
 
Hope it isn't spamming to link up to another post I made on the long distance cycling forum, but I don't want people to miss out on knowing about this guy. Hats off to him for sure.


This guy Mark Beaumont has more guts than most. Check out his achievement - especially on the linked to BBC website.

Now if he had done this on an A-Bike, then it would have been an achievement beyond imagination

Yes indeed. Ninety-five miles a day for 195 days would be fabulous on an A bike.

I suppose it could be done - as long as the A-Bike was in the back of the car.
