want my leftover Raleigh Twenty parts? Sturmey Archer, fork, heron cranks...

1st lemme thank Littlepixel for linking the interested folks here at BikeForums to my Raleigh Twenty flickr page :-)

Go to the 16th pic in the set, which shows the parts I now no longer need laid out on the floor. (I also have original brake handles I just noticed aren't in the photo). If you need any of these parts, lemme know which, and where you live, and I'll see what it'll cost to ship.

OK, to clarify a little. I finished my R20 project, so the frame isn't available. Since I saw lots of conversation here about genuine vintage Twentys, I thought I'd make what's left over available to you all first. Following are 2 pics, the one mentioned prior, showing most parts I no longer need, and one of my completed bike, linked to by Littlepixel as Badass Fixie on Flickr:

Are those wheels 406mm? Mine is 451mm which is a pain. I would like to swap it for a set of 406mm, so I can use the leftover part from my Moulton. Do you have two usable cotter pins and bolt? Nice job...

Beautiful machine! If you still have the workins of the kickstand you hacksawed off, please PM me. I'm in Portland, Oregon. My kickstand is missing, and I was going to just hacksaw the mounting bracket off as well, but if your old kickstand is still serviceable, I'd be happy to use it and trash my aftermarket one. Also, the fulcrum clip for the 3-speed cable would be a good thing for me as well, if someone else doesn't need it for their 3-speed upgrade (I'm using a hose clamp now, which works but looks ugly).

    Thanks,

yep, these are the 406 steel ones. I have the bb spindle--though there's a 50-50 chance I held onto the cotter pins, I'm not confident they can be reused.

I'm aiming to weigh parts and figure s&h costs this weekend. I'll PM replies to your requests around Sunday night. Thanks for your interest and the complements. And thanks Aaron for getting my pics to display.

I've *** a pair of steel sturmey archer 406 rims that are in great shape someone can have for the shipping. I'm looking for an original front hub and some of of the early swoopy handlebars. Also a rear rack would be great.

Hey all, sorry I didn't get to figuring out s&h for any of the vintage R20 bits over the wknd--ended up having to throw them all into my storage room before my new lady friend came over for dinner. (No, it wasn't the folding fixed-gear that captivated her, before our eyes met and she found herself entranced.)

Mr. Suicide here reminded me that it would be super cool to have a rear rack that fits my Twenty, mainly so it could stay upright when folded. So if there's more than one of you who have racks you wanna swap. Or if anyone has suggestions on where to find a lighter alternative that fits--?

You want to find a vintage Aluminium Pletscher/ESGE rack really - they're a lot nicer than the ones on the later models which are welded steel and inherantly rusty.

I still have the Pletscher rack from mine but I modded [ie ground off some bits] it to take some panniers I no longer use and I think it's a bit of a way to send it... (it's sprayed black with bbq paint).

I'd actually love to take your swan-necked handlepost off your hands but fear for the cost of shipping the bulk all the way to the uk so will likely pass on it. Those bars are from older models (same as the ones used on the earlier RSW bike) and a lot rarer here than the more utilitarian later straight ones - at least this is the case here in the uk

Congrats on the FGG listing today btw!
