Bikes: "Hildy", a Novara Randonee touring bike; a 16-speed Bike Friday Tikit; and a Specialized Stumpjumper frame-based built-up MTB, now serving as the kid-carrier, grocery-getter.

These all seem to be backordered, something about Shimano being late supplying the hubs. The shop that ordered mine has give me a rough date of the end of April.

Anyone know the full story on this? I'm impatient and want my bike!

Test ride the bike already. A wonderful bike to have. The nexus premium hub is so smooth. I'm willing to give up my birdy and top up for this wonderbike. Really worth waiting for. Over here in Spore is 2 months wait for the next shipment.

Good look with your bike neilfein, iread the Folding Society review on this and it's a very impressive 16" folder and all-rounder. No wonder you are itching to use it! The less you think the faster times flies!

I test rode the 3-speed curve, and loved it but wished for more gears.

There are trikes here where I work that the warehouse and maintenance guys use. I wonder if they'd let me ride the Curve at work...?

I was thinking of upgrading my D3 to nexus hub but nexus hub is 15mm wider than the stock sturmey Archer. So its fat hope for me.
