1000 Miles on my Downtube NS

yay, today I reached the 1000 mile mark on my Downtube IX NS which I got in Feb 2007.

117 round trip commutes (8.5 miles RT plus Amtrak train)
351 complete folds and unfolds
tons of fun and exercise.

still doing great, with minimal maintenance, and two or three minor "$5 parts" had to be replaced during the year.

no flats yet (knock on wood). 2 of my 3 problems were with brake components which concerned me as I have a 30 mph downhill ending at a stopsign at a 1-lane underpass. But everything is still going strong.
