Taking my Downtube on World Naked Bike Ride

Yep - June 6th, right through the centre of my city, naked. I was going to do the ride anyway, and now I realise it's a great chance to promote Velo Chocolate. I'm not sure whether y'all are going to want pictures though......

Well, I'm not sure what to say. Enjoy, I guess, and thanks for the warning.

Would that be 'Willy' Wonka's Velo Chocolate Factory? LOL!

Tried to do the naked ride last year, but, for tour reasons, never made it. Bummer!

Will be adding the Velo Choc link asap BTW.

Chafe-free riding Chop!

There are some good taste, far from "adult content" images of the World Naked Bike Ride online. If you have a chance, take a picture of your downtube near the princess of the event (Being the princess the cutest female, not the flamboyant transsexual)

As long as you don't show us pictures of your 'Downtube' alongside the bike

Hopefully they'll have Saranwrap for the seats.

I'm sure Sammyboy's 'downtube' to quote littlepixel is a lot smaller than his 20" folding bike!

I'd love to see Jessica Alba naked on a Downtube full suspension. Yan why don't you hire her?

JOKE!

I am not even going to comment on this sad topic, Sammyboy.....suffice to say, I shudder to think of all the not-so perfect riders' bods on display

I bet you were one of those naughty little boys who used to run around in the "roody doody"

What is the URL of that website. I always enjoy doing research and learning more about bikes, and good riding form.

Bahahaha - I'm not going in order to take pictures of pretty girls for you all to gawk at! I'm surprised at some of the reactions - I've actually had a PM suggesting I'll be arrested! It's a ride to raise awareness about the impact of cars and oil on the environment, it'll be fun, and nobody has been arrested or even asked to get dressed. I'm quite sure that there'll be all sorts of "not so perfect" bodies, but who said everyone has to be perfect? If there are any photos that get posted here, I'll make sure they're totally safe for work. Sadly my own personal "Downtube" doesn't quite make 20 inches though.

Heard at a garden party in Virginia Water on 1st April 1903 the observations of Colonel J. Poofhater-Bigot -

What's that? Naked Bike Ride?!!!!

Damned disgraceful.... Horse whipping's too good for the bounders. Round 'em up and send 'em to the Boar War, I say... Make men of 'em. That'll teach the devils to undress in public. Frighten the damned horses, let alone the ladies.

What's that? Naked ladies riding velocipedes?

Well I never. Where did you say this is happening? What's that you say?

Mabel, pass that ear trumpet will you m' dear?

I'm just not that sure when the weather in Britain would allow such riding shenanigins. Today the max temp was 58F and it won't reach 60F until next Wednesday. In those kind of temperatures, as a matter of pride, I make sure my 'delicate' parts are kept out of sight.

I've found that after years of cycling, which includes racing and distance riding that those parts are affected in size........oh never mind
