Hi All, Here is a picture of my R-20 from just after it was built up I have since switched the saddle to a re-covered Avocet w/titanium rails and added a w/b cage. It has Campy brakes (I will post photo's of my custom drop-link's) and a Campy Chorus crank Richtey bars and new headset.. running 451's Stelvio's which get their fare share of flats...
All in All it has been great in London, Paris and Seoul -- not to mention back home in NYC. Gets lots of respect..
Couldn't have done it with out all your help! thank you all.
ps. I am looking for a thread less forks which would be compatible (w/ long head tube) if anyone has any ideas please let me know. Also thinking about adding gears maybe suggestions welcome.

Here it is packed for travel. the wheels fit right in there no problem along with tools to re-assemble, locks, spare tubes etc. Powdered hand cleaner: Boraxo always travels along, that is great stuff.

Front and rear drop-links, made from scrap metal taken from old office chairs etc. Hint: Bend the fender hangar straight out for use as a center bolt-thru for rear brake.
This enabled me to use high quality short-reach Campy brakes in front and back. Stopping power is very important when riding jet-lagged around foreign cities!

I did a mod for a threadless headset that is relatively easy to do, just look it up on my r-20 blog.

-how tall are you? Im just asking because of the amount of rise you have on your bars also because of the reach.
-What type of lugauge is taht you are using?

I am about 5' 10" ( Maybe 5 10 1/2" )
This thing goes fast, it really flies..
The suitcase is a 29" Samsonite Oyster (The industry standard for folders it seems)

-Are you handle bars comfy where you have them? (I ask because I have still not gotten to ride mine ).
-What BB method did you end up using?
-Why do you want to go to a threadless (Im just curious)
-What is your gear set up (sprocket count) ?
-Is it fixie or freewheel?

Those front brakes look like they have an steel tube insert up into the fork like, is that correct?
I have the same and found that it was a simple and easy way of using modern road calipers,
well done, the bike looks great.

If the bike looks good I have only you guys to thank ! and Sheldon Brown (R.I.P.) He advised me on the bottom bracket which is a Shimano spindle with the Phil Wood cups. It just made sense, like most of Sheldon's advice. That was installed at my LBS everything else I did.

Yes, there is an inverted "T" shaped piece of aluminum sticking up into the fork hole the two other parts are sanded concave to fit the forks inner profile, (will post photo's of this) ... Anyway, it is snug up in there, I then drilled a hole for the brake bolt, it is also thru - bolted to the fork easy, sort of. .Would be nice to compare with your set up, Stevegor.

Ideally i would like to go threadless to save weight and maybe have less fork rake, I guess I could change the rake easily enough I have seen one of you guys doing that on a bench vice, right ?

It is a free-wheel, the gear ratio is perfect for zooming along, it must be a 53 x 15 but I will have to go count it to be sure.. The 451's I just love and just got them by chance on ebay before I even knew there were 2 different sized 20" wheels !! Perfect really for this bike, smaller would be easier in the suitcase of course and then there is the availability of tires...but don't get me started!
