Meet Muriel

I picked her up yesterday in her suitcase. I saw and ad and was the first one to call and drove two hours to pick her up. I thought it would be a bike that my wife or daughter might use. When I got home I opened the suitcase and took the bike out along with all the other components. There were two stems and I installed the larger and too my surprise the bike had downbars. I installed the bars, the skewer on the front wheel, added some pedals and a different saddle and it fit me. The bike was advertised for someone 5'4"-5'6" and I am 5'9", the larger stem made the difference. What a pleasure to ride. I named her Muriel because she was custom built for Muriel from whom I purchased it from.

Nice looking bike. I've been thinking about a folding road bike myself as I sold my full size road bike this year. Not sure if I should think about something like you have or hot rod a Tikit....

I was ready to get a Dahon Smooth hound or Hammer Head when the Bike Friday showed up.

So, what will the wife and daughter be riding???

I think I see a couple more Bike Friday's in your future.

(Have to say, my wife is in love with her Pocket Crusoe, whom she has named "Sapphire".)
