A sad tale with a happy ending...
Several weeks ago a friend was working in his yard and had left his shed unlocked and some ne'er do well travelling down the back lane took advantage of this to steal one his bicycles.
My friend has a lot of very nice bicycles and the thief opted to steal the most unusual bike of the whole lot... a Moulten AM2 !
We put the word out across the city, made postings on Craigslist, and called every bike shop and I got an e-mail update today saying that someone had recovered the AM2 from a street person by offering him 40.00 for the odd little bike... they had seen the posting at our website about the stolen bike and knew this had to be it.
The fellow (who shall remain un-named) that recovered the bike also refused to accept the reward that was offered for the return of the bicycle which was the jewel in my friend's rather nice collection.
It is not even polite to ask what a bike like this is worth and the perp had no idea what he had stolen.
