Buying folding bike online in Europe
Hello! Now I live in Sweden and I would like to buy a folding bike. But I found that folding bike in Sweden is very and very expensive. A dahon is much much more expensive than other countries.
So I decide to buy it online. Someone recommends a website called "chain reactions cycles". I find the price is good. But the choice is limited. It only has one model " Berg Easy 2.1 folding bike".
Could anyone recommend me other website where I can buy folding bike with a limited budget? If not, is "Berg Easy 2.1 folding bike a good choice for me for normal use?
Thank you.

So what bike do you want?, try to decide that first then web-search through,
to the names of dealers for that brand..
UK to SEK money exchange, and the VAT tax arrangements between the 2 countries is
unknown by me at this time.
Brompton is UK made, rather than a China made low cost bike re-sold thru a variety of retailers,
DaHon a well known brand often copied, made even more cheaply, [lower QC?]
by other companies.(see above)
Tern is A Taiwan based company run by other members of the Hon family..

Thanks you two. I have checked the website and found that they are too expensive. In fact I just have a budget with maximum 2500SEK (300EUR). Could you recommend a bike within my budget?

In fact My own town is Hong Kong and bikes there are very cheap. One folding bike Dahon HAT060 is highly recommended with limited budget. It's just about 1000SEK. Can I find this model in Europe? Thank you!

Hi,
If it comes with all the bits shown above, and not
illustrated, at chainreaction, seems a good bike
for the money, but check you do get the mudguards,
rack etc with chainreaction.
rgds, sreten.

Hi, i finally but the Tern Link D8 is here:
https://www.evanscycles.com/products/...-bike-ec032582
I think the price is good.
But i am going to take my bike back to Hong Kong after my trip. But evanscycles said i cannot refund the VAT as I buy online and deliver to EU country. No tax refund form can be made when purchasing online. Does anyone know what I can do so as to claim the VAT back. It's not a small quantity.
Thank you all.

We have 2 of these bikes. Principally, they are produced for the Chinese market only and maybe countries in the vicinity (Russia as well?). In the US you can only get them on Ebay and their price goes up compared to China. They are also of lower quality than typical for the US. For many uses they are still good enough.

It folds inside. It's also a fine bike for the price point, and decathlon have a good reputation for selling cheaper but still well made bikes.
